Jim Johnson, the man who is looking for Barack Obama’s vice presidential candidates stepped down from his role today. The Republicna’s have been going after Jim Johnson once they learned that he received a good deal on a mortgage from Countrywide because of his friendship with Angelo Mozilo, the company’s CEO.

Countrywide as you know is a big part of the sub prime mortgage mess that is going on in this country. Obama himself has criticized Countrywide in connection with the subprime mortgage crisis. So the only thing that Jim Johnson could do was to step aside as it would pose a large contradiction to Obama’s presidential campaign.

I don’t know about you, but I am getting real tired of politics. Everyone seems to be getting breaks and deals since they have friends in high ranking places while the average consumer pays for it. Who do you think is paying so that Jim Johnson could have a great rate on a mortgatge? Who do you think is paying for all those people that have had their house forclosed on? You got it, we are! Can’t we find a presidential candidate that isn’t, or has friends that haven’t been, involved in some sort of scandal. Apparently you need to be corrupt to be a high ranking political oficial.

God bless America!
