Tony Rezko who was a fundraiser for Illinois Govenor Rod Blagojevich has been found guilty on 16 of the 24 counts that were against him.

Here is a breakdown of some of the counts:

• Wire and mail fraud counts - not guilty

• Attempted extortion of moive producer Tom Rosenberg - not guity
• Aiding and abbeding bribery - Some counts guilty
• Aiding and abbeding bribery - Some counts not guilty
• And on the most serious charges, Money laundering and aiding and abbeding money laundering - Guilty

Tony Rezko is definetly going to spend some time in prison over these guilty counts. I am curious to see if they will also start looking into Govenor Blagojevich due to his close connection to Tony Rezko. Being from Chicago I hope they clean house here. Our state government is broke due to the great decisions by our Govenor. And with his close ties to a now convicted felon, I am wondering if any of Tony’s shady deals have rubbed off on him.
