The boy told 911 dispatch that his parents had begun fighting telling them that there was a gun and shooting involved. When officers arrived at the house, they found the bodies of Peggy and Daryl Brooks in the yard. Cops are still looking into a murder suicide but nothings is confirmed yet.

The 14 year old boy was not harmed in the fighting. However he may suffer from physchological issues in the coming months. There was no word whether Peggy and Daryl Brooks had any other children or what will happen to the boy. Initially the couple’s son was put in the care of child protective services while they try to find out-of-state relatives.

Again it is sad to see that parents don’t have any regard for their children or their actions. Now there is at least one child whose life will be completey turned upside down. More on this story will be released as the investigation continues.
