According to witnesses, the couple got in a verbal argument when leaving the bar. The argument escalated into a physical fight when they arrived home later that evening. After arriving at the home, police determined that both Chris Cagle and Jennifer Taut were intoxicated and had obvious injuries that appeared to be from a fist fight.
Cagle and Taut were both arrested under domestic violence charges. Their bond was set at $1,500 for each of them. Tennessee state law mandates that both of them remain in jail until 4:40 p.m. on Wednesday.
Cagle is no stranger to violence. He previously was arrested on an assault charge when he hit the boyfriend of a woman that got mad at Cagle for not signing an autograph.
It is amazing to me how people that are in the lime light can’t seem to restrain themselves from these kind of actions. I mean come on, don’t you think that a domestic abuse charge is gonna look bad in the eyes or record producers or your fans. I guess that so many stars are getting caught breaking the law that we are all getting oblivious to actually wanting them held accountable. Just look at Paris Hiton, Lindsay Lohan, and Nick Hogan. Even when they go to prison it is like a vacation. I can tell you that if me being a nobody was sent to jail, I would be rooming with the biggest, ugliest, smelliest inmate there was. Now is that fair?
